Use this tutorial to help you through the checkout process:

I currently sell retail through Etsy and accept major credit cards, PayPal, Etsy Direct Checkout, and Etsy gift cards. No cancellations of orders will be accepted once payment is received. Invoice will include 6.5% Florida State Sales Tax for all Florida residents. If you live in another state, Etsy will charge the mandated sales tax for your state and add it to your invoice.
In-stock items are shipped within 1-3 business days via USPS (United States Postal Service.) If you would like your order sent priority mail, please select that choice during the check-out process. Due to the various sizes and weights of products offered, combined shipping discounts are not shown. Carton size will depend on the item(s) ordered, and postage will be determined by weight and size of the box. I will credit your account with any shipping cost overages (if applicable, if multiple items are purchased in a single order) at the time I print your shipping label. All shipping upgrades, insurance and confirmation requests are paid by the buyer.
A 3-day money back, satisfaction guarantee, is offered on each piece that you purchase. If an item is returned, it must be received back by the seller within 7 days of customer receiving the product. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs on returns or exchanges. A refund of the product price only (not shipping) will be made when item is received back by seller in original, undamaged condition. However, if a piece arrives to you damaged, please email a photo of the damaged item within 24 hours of receipt and I will replace promptly (allow 2-4 weeks time for a new item to be created if a surplus one is not in stock.) No refunds are accepted on special/custom orders.
If you are interested in establishing a wholesale account with Palm Island Glassworks for resale in your brick and mortar store, studio, or gallery, please send me an email as I welcome all inquiries.
Glass art is one of three basic types:
(1) Cold Glass - Stained glass
(2) Warm Glass - Fused in a kiln
(3) Hot Glass - Blown or torch worked
My fused glass art is made with glasses tested as compatible for fusing when heated in a kiln. All of my pieces are made with glasses that were developed and are manufactured by Bullseye Glass Company in Portland, Oregon. Each piece is hand cut. Certain items require detail work on a ring saw or require grinding to smooth the edges. Once assembled and heated in my kilns, the glasses soften, fuse together, and assume the shape of whatever surface they're resting upon or within, such as a flat kiln shelf or curved mold.
Dichroic Glass is a multi layer coating placed on glass by using a highly technical vacuum deposit process. Quartz Crystal and Metal Oxides are vaporized with an electron beam gun in an airless vacuum chamber and the vapor then floats upward, attaches, then condenses on the surface of the glass in the form of a crystal structure. The main characteristic of Dichroic Glass is that it has a transmitted color and a completely different reflective color. Furthermore, these two colors shift depending on angle of view. With the play of light together with its vibrant color, Dichroic Glass is a prime tool used to add interest to any piece of work or project. With over 45 Colors of Dichroic coatings available to be placed on “any” substrate (ie glass), artists have unlimited freedom of expression. As far as its applications go today, dichroic sheets are favored by jewelry makers and glass fusers for their mesmerizing color-changing properties.
Clean your pieces with a microfiber cloth. A light touch when dusting is recommended. For stubborn or oily fingerprints, a paper towel sprayed lightly with window cleaner or rubbing alcohol should be sufficient.
Glass Color Variation: Due to the nature of glass (opacity or transparency), as well as the differences in digital cameras and computer monitors, the colors of your actual purchased piece may appear slightly different than depicted on this website or on Etsy.
